Collateral Beauty

Last night it was raining and cold.  Waking up I could hear the rain, thus making it difficult to mentally rally and get going.  However, my desire for a good bed selection prompted me to move... so off I went into the storm.

The goal for today was to find as much collateral beauty as possible.  Although it is more difficult to take pictures in the rain and with the poncho, it was still a beautiful walk.  So, enjoy some of the beautiful I found.

Being another Sunday, I offer a portion of one of my favorite daily devotionals.

It’s a new day:  the choice is yours

 by Max Lucado

Because of Calvary, I’m free to choose.  And so, I choose.

I choose love.

I choose joy.

I choose peace.

I choose patience.

I choose kindness.

I choose goodness.

I choose faithfulness.

I choose gentleness.

I choose self-control.

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  To these I commit my day.  If I succeed, I will give thanks.  If I fail, I will seek His grace.  And then, when this day is done, I will place my head on my pillow and rest.
